Seven Surprising Places You're Using Copywriting (And You Probably Don't Realize It)

When you hear the word "copywriting" do you immediately think of long sales pages, squeeze pages, and unwanted bulk mail?

You're not alone in that thinking, but the fact is, copywriting is more than just sales messages. In fact, as an online business owner, most of the content you produce could be called copywriting at least in some sense. After all, if you're creating content with the ultimate goal of selling something, that is by definition copywriting.

1-Facebook

Sure we all like to hang out on Facebook and chat with friends, catch up on the latest funny videos, and enjoy a mindless "quiz" or two. But for coaches, Facebook is much more than that. It's a place to connect with potential clients, and that means that when you're sharing your latest blog post or program with your business friends, you have to keep good copywriting in mind.

2-LinkedIn Profile

What makes you stand out from the other coaches in your niche? Your LinkedIn profile is where you share what makes you the best person to solve your ideal client's problems. It's where you shout about your credentials and let your ego run the show. Think of your LinkedIn profile like a resume, and be sure to list your most impressive credentials.

3-About Page

Here's your chance to have some fun while blowing your own horn. It's important to know that the about page is often the most visited page on a website, so it's a critical piece of your overall brand and message. The purpose of your about page is to entice people to want to learn more about your services, so be sure to include a call to action on the page.

4-Blog Posts

All blog posts have a job to do. Maybe they're meant to lead your reader to a sales page. Perhaps you're asking for readers to subscribe to your mailing list. Maybe your blog post is designed to start a conversation. Or maybe it's just sharing great content and inviting readers to learn more by clicking on related posts. Whatever the job, it's copywriting that entices your reader to take that next action.

5-Twitter

One hundred and forty characters is precious little space for creating compelling content, yet that's exactly what you must do if you hope to use Twitter as part of your overall marketing strategy. Think of tweets like email subject lines, and craft them to convey as much information as possible while still enticing readers to take action.

6-Graphics

If you are using graphics for posts on social media platforms (think Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest), you should be conscious of the copywriting there also. It's just called "short copy" and it's still important to make it effective, especially because it's even shorter than a tweet. And of course you may have other copy that goes along with the graphic.

7-Email

Whether you're sending an email about a new product or service or simply letting readers know you have a new blog post up, your email definitely qualifies as copywriting. In fact, even the personal emails you send to prospective clients contain what we would call copywriting.

The fact is, copywriting is everywhere in your business, from your sales pages to your invoices. Whenever you ask a reader to take some action, you're writing copy, and the more comfortable with the idea of it, the better (and more natural) you'll become.

How to Improve Your Content Marketing

Improving your content can grow your email list, because it gives more opportunities for your audience to sign up. Plus, you will be giving them a reason to sign up by delivering excellent content that's targeted toward their needs.

Add Multiple CTAs

Don't just put a box on the right side-bar asking for people to sign up for your newsletter. That isn't enough. Now you need to add CTAs in numerous areas to get their attention and increase sign-up rates. Put one under each post, on the right side-bar, in a lightbox and inside content with content upgrades.

Create Content Upgrades

A terrific and effective way to get more sign-ups is to be more specific by adding content upgrades to the content you offer free. You can do this within a blog post, within articles you publish on LinkedIn, and as a guest writer. A content upgrade is information that helps clarify and make the content the audience is reading more useful. For example, a free MS Excel chore chart template with an article on how to get your family to share chores would make an excellent upgrade.

Cross-Promote Your Content

When you publish content anywhere, have a plan on how you'll promote the content across all channels. This makes your content better because it looks more cohesive. For example, if you write a blog about eating less sugar, you might share recipes on Pinterest that use less sugar, and videos of recipes on Facebook that use less sugar too.

Tweak Titles

If your content is not getting clicked on, you can't get sign-ups. So, make sure your titles are compelling enough to get people to click through. Don't trick them, though. Be straightforward but clear about what's inside the content with the titles.

Remember to Add Appropriate Headers

When people read online, they need a lot more white space than when reading on paper. Add headers that tell them what's inside the next paragraph so that they can be propelled to keep reading more.

Use the Right Keywords

If you're not sure what good keywords are, study more about the proper use of keywords so that you can improve SEO. Search engine optimization is important for building your list because that's how people will find your content in a search.

Use a Lightbox Pop-Up to Gate Your Content

You don't want to turn readers away, but you do want to maximize the potential of the viewer signing up. Add a lightbox pop-up to your website so that it waits a bit, then pops up asking for a sign-up to continue reading. Make it optional so that they can X out of it if they don't want to sign up.

Deliver on Your Promises

When people do sign up, remind them of where they signed up, why they signed up, and what you will be sending them. Then deliver on those promises. More people will want to open your email messages if they find them valuable.

When you write and manage your content correctly, it will make your life easier and your business grow. To discover how the most successful online entrepreneurs plan, create and deliver great content, download my free checklist, The 5 Step Content Strategy, at https://jonallo.com/contentplan

7 Signs You're On Track To Succeed Online In 2021

Some attribute the quote "success leaves clues" to Jim Rohn and some attribute it to Tony Robbins, but whoever said it, is dead on point. Indeed, success leaves clues.

Check out any "overnight success" and you'll discover the person had been toiling in obscurity for years before he or she became an overnight success.

Radio, TV and assorted media will be all over the place "celebrating the person's "Great Success". No one bothered when the person was going hungry, driving a battered car and wearing hand-me-down clothes.

So the three thought-provoking questions I want to ask you are:

    a) How many paid courses have you registered for in the past three years?

    b) How many relevant books have you invested in?

    c) How many gurus have you reached out to?

Yes, success leaves clues. Success will not fall on your lap from above. You must ardently search and go for it. If you do you'll become an overnight success and the media will roll out their drums to celebrate your success.

To increase your chances of success, narrow your focus and set your sights single-mindedly on how to make it online because that's the way the world is going and there is no going back.

The biggest and richest companies on earth are all online businesses; not in any particular order Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft.

While it used to take companies close to hundred years to become "Multinational Corporations" with operations spanning the globe, almost all the above "digital companies" became global behemoths within 10 to 20 years.

Not only companies, but individuals are making it big online. Bloggers and information product marketers like Jon Morrow, Brian Clark, Darren Rowse, Brendon Burchard, Russell Brunson, Amy Porterfield, and Neil Patel, to name just seven, all built their eight-figure empires within a few years of striking out online.

It doesn't matter whether you're into E-Commerce, Information Marketing, Blogging, Affiliate Marketing or any combination of online businesses, the key to online success is "CONSISTENCY" and following your clearly defined strategy rather than being an opportunistic profit seeker.

Here are the seven signs you're on track to succeed online. Not in any particular order:

1. You've drawn up your "CUSTOMER AVATAR" so you're quite clear who you want to serve. Your customer avatar is the mirror image of the dream customer you'd like to serve. As you know, all customers are not born equal so being very clear on the type of customer you wish to serve puts you miles ahead of the competition. Knowing your customer avatar enables you to build a profitable "MAILING LIST". With your mailing list in place you're on a fast track to online success.

2. You've built your "DREAM 100" online influencers list and reaching out to them. Online Influencers, Experts, and Gurus make things happen online. They've figured out what works and are building and scaling their eight-figure empires. Following, learning from, and modeling their success are the shortest and fastest ways to build your own seven-figure empire to start with without reinventing the wheel.

3. You've chosen the "THREE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS" you wish to concentrate your effort on and posting consistently. New social media platforms are born nearly daily but to succeed, you must select just three based on your own objectives not on the popularity of the media. Anything more than three will spread you too thin and render you ineffective. Whether you choose any three of Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Periscope, etc., must align with your strategy.

4. You're daily building your "CREDIBILITY AND GRAVITAS". As the Bible says, "By their fruits you'll know them." You know that people will only follow you if you have credibility and gravitas. One of the biggest credibility boosters is having a New York Times best-selling book to your name. Making it big online as you already know is not a walk through the park so day and night take steps to reinforce your credibility and gravitas.

5. You're working quietly and with full concentration on your "LEAD MAGNETS", LANDING PAGES" and "IRRESISTIBLE OFFERS". These three: lead magnets, landing pages and irresistible offers: set the stage for you to start collecting leads, converting them into subscribers, showing them the stuff you're made of and making them offers they can't do without.

6. You're learning to craft "SALES LETTERS" with great Hooks, Stories and Offers. No matter how beautiful your product, no matter how stellar your credibility, and no matter how popular you're on social media, it's your sales letters that convert subscribers into paying customers sending cash to your bank account. Learning to craft effective sales letters and pitching the right audience put you in the league of winners.

7. You're learning how to create "IRRESISTIBLE PRODUCTS" that change your dream customers' lives. As every entrepreneur knows, whether online or offline, and more so online, where you're dealing with customers sometimes six time zones away, you're in the business of transforming lives. Simply put, you're in the transformation business. The better you're able to transform people's lives, the bigger your bank account will grow. What makes transformation happen are the great products you create. Products come last in the series because you have to tailor exactly to your dream customer's identified need.

The above seven signs separate those who are on track to succeed from those who aren't.

To summarize, you've created your customer avatar, you've selected your dream 100 online influencers, you've selected the three social media platforms you wish to be king, you're burnishing your credibility and gravitas day and night, your lead magnets, landing pages, irresistible offers, and sales letters are selling your irresistible products round the clock.

To accelerate your success, you're not only making irresistible offers, you're building offer-stacks as tall as Mount Kilimanjaro and placing order bumps strategically throughout your value ladder and sales funnel. These advanced online strategies can 10X your success rate. But first you must understand the basics by being humble enough to learn.

If you're doing any three of the above you're on track to not only succeed, but succeed massively online. If you're not, retrace your steps and refocus. Narrow your focus and concentrate on the few things that will bring you success in the shortest possible time. Just keep learning and suddenly you'll reach a tipping point where everything falls into place sending you to the stratosphere of success just like the online gurus I've mentioned in this article.

Why Mums Are Turning Their Back On Corporate Life To Master Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is fast becoming a popular option for parents who want to achieve a happier balance between work and family life. So what's it all about?

Everyone needs to adapt their lifestyle when they become parents. Some aspects are relatively easy to change. For example, no more term-time holidays - you might do this begrudgingly but you can adapt.

A big challenge for many is adapting to the demands placed upon them when trying to balance a job and being a parent. Suddenly having to factor in childcare and its many challenges, having to unexpectedly take time off when your child is sick, and you can't remember how many times you have said, 'I can't make the meeting if it's after 5pm'... sorry!

Affiliate marketing is something that you can learn and earn money from. If you are open to learning new skills and willing to invest your time it can generate a very healthy full-time income. The beauty of it is that you can work flexibly, from anywhere at anytime. It gives you flexibility and control. Sounds good right?

But what is affiliate marketing?

In short, affiliate marketing is when one person markets someone else's product and gains a commission when a sale is made. Commissions can range from 1% to as high as 75%.

I'll give an example of how this works.

Imagine this. Sarah has developed this great product and she's keen to start selling it.

How does she find customers? It doesn't matter how good her product is, without customers it's nothing.

She could set up a shop on her local high street. Great idea... in 1985! No, it's 2015 and there is this thing called the internet. The potential reach customers on her high street is really limited, restricted to just people who happen to live nearby. The potential reach for customers on the internet knows no bounds... we're talking billions.

Sarah needs no more convincing. After all, having a physical shop is very costly too.

So she will sell on the internet. She gets a website set up. But now for the big challenge. How to find the customers. She knows there are people out there who would want to buy her product, but how does she reach them and tell them about it?

She knows that she needs to advertise but doesn't have the skills to do that. What's more, she really doesn't want to invest time and money in learning those skills, she wants to stick to what she is good at - developing and selling her product.

This is where affiliate marketing comes in.

Hannah is an affiliate marketer. She is an expert in the niche of Sarah's product. She knows exactly how to bring people who want Sarah's product to her. In exchange, Hannah gets a commission on the price of the product sold.

Everyone is a winner. The customer got a product they wanted. Sarah sold her product (hooray!). Hannah received commission for making the introduction (and didn't have to fulfil the order, get involved in payment, shipping... all those hassles).

Okay, this is a really simple example. Merchants that offer affiliate programmes can vary greatly in terms of size, offerings, products etc. For example, Amazon is one of the largest and diverse affiliate programs.

Affiliate marketing is a low-cost way to raise awareness and showcase products. The difference between traditional marketing and affiliate marketing is that it's a win-win for the merchant because they pay nothing for advertising until the affiliate brings to them a buyer.

Why does affiliate marketing appeal to mums?

Affiliate marketing is a great choice for mums because it's a way to earn an income around balancing family commitments.

Working mums find it to be scalable to their needs and wants. For example, I know a stay-at-home-mum with two young children who built a really successful online business based on affiliate marketing from only working in the evenings - when all is quiet from the kids' bedrooms!

Similarly, I know a mum who after a few months, was able to quit her full-time professional job and earn significantly more, while working fewer hours, as an affiliate marketing entrepreneur.

I could go on with numerous examples and illustrations of how affiliate marketing works for busy mums but I won't. You can work anywhere, at any time, you are your own boss and it's flexible - you get it, I know.

Interestingly, in the UK (according to the Office for National Statistics) 4.2m people were working from home in 2014, which is 13.9% of the working population. Similarly, Forbes magazine posted an article stating that 1 in 5 Americans work from home. Working from home is a growing and totally respectable way to earn a living. We largely have advancements in technology and the digital economy to thank for that!

How do people get started with affiliate marketing?

You may be wondering how to get started, and perhaps asking yourself what skills and experience you need. The answer is that you don't need any prior skills or experience, because everything can be taught. Anyone who is open to learning and willing to put in some hard work can succeed.

I could launch into a long list of the steps, that if followed diligently, would stand you in good stead for success with affiliate marketing... but I won't! That's an entirely separate article which I will write very soon... Okay, I can't help myself. Here is my brain dump list of getting started... choose a niche, find products, join an affiliate program, get a domain name & hosting, find a mentor, join a community, set up a free website/blog, add content, focus on providing value (value value value!), build relationships, gain followers, learn targeted advertising...

Personally, I invested in training in online marketing, and the training company that I signed-up with, the Six Figure Mentors, also provided a one-stop-shop digital system in addition to the training (it includes lots of software that you need plus your hosting and website etc). This may not be for everyone, but for me, building my own affiliate marketing business has been a revelation. The digital system I used was a huge time saver, as I didn't have to piece together what I needed to learn - and you don't know what you don't know! I wanted support and mentors. I also thought that if I want to get really good at something - which I did, I'm competitive by nature so not one for doing things by halves - then I needed to invest in my own learning. In the same way that I have friends doing Open University courses and MBAs, I studied internet marketing and it has opened a whole world of exciting possibilities that don't leave me dependent on the corporate ladder!

I hope this has been useful to you and you now know a little more about what affiliate marketing is. If you are interested in learning more then please feel free to sign-up for my complimentary training series by visiting the Getting Started page on my website [http://mummyentrepreneur.co.uk/getting-started/]

How Do You Sell Digital Products?

Promoting and selling digital products requires getting your product in front of your audience. It's a lot easier to make a sale when your ideal customer feels as if they just discovered the holy grail because you put it right in front of them so they could not miss it.

Your Website and Blog

Everything starts with your blog or website. It's not a good idea to send people someplace else to make a purchase from you unless you're making money from an affiliate sale.

Social Media Marketing

In addition to a blog, promote everything you offer on each of the social media platforms that your audience uses. Every post you make, every sale you have, every story you can relate to, and so forth should be shared on social media. Also, add sharing buttons to your email marketing messages and blog posts.

Content Marketing

Write blog posts, guest posts, and how-to articles. Make videos all about your product. What problems does your product solve? Create content about the problem so you can educate your audience about it, then offer them the solution too.

Paid Advertisements

Don't ignore paid ads. They work. Do try to get everything else in place before running a paid advertisement. You need a good landing page, check-out process and so forth to make this worth it.

Influencer Marketing

Once you have your product ready, find some social media influencers to take up your cause. You can pay them, or you can find some who will work for a percentage of sales using an affiliate link. An influencer will simply talk about your product, maybe blog about it, and give their honest thoughts about it.

Affiliate Marketing

This is why your choice of shopping cart tech is so important. If you're selling digital products, you need an affiliate program to make more money. Paying an affiliate half of the price of the product is a small price to pay to get more sales when the product is fully digital.

Creating More Landing Pages

Studies show that having more landing pages is better than having fewer. Create dedicated landing pages for every freebie you have, even your email list subscription, and potentially affiliate products too. This can look like a blog post or a page, but it should be fully dedicated to only one product per page.

Free Trials

Depending on the type of digital product you sell, free trials may work wonders. This is useful for apps, software, and plugins. You may want to offer an example of what your other products look like by creating some freebies that show what you do.

Affiliate Marketing Guide - How to Increase Your Revenue Through Affiliate Programs

Affiliate marketing is an approach to online business, which has grown in popularity over the last few years. The Internet has changed the way people buy and sell products, and the affiliate program is one of the most lucrative ways of making money online.

In this brief article, I will discuss affiliate marketing, its importance to a website and the best strategy to use to create one. After reading this article, you should be better prepared to start looking to earn some money with affiliate marketing.

So, what is affiliate marketing? Basically, affiliate marketing is a kind of performance-based compensation plan in which one or more merchants reward one or more affiliates per visitor or client brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts. In exchange for this recognition, the affiliate is rewarded financially for bringing the customer or visitor to the merchant's site.

There are various ways to monetize an affiliate marketing channel. For example, one affiliate might get paid for every sale that results from a link that is clicked from their page. In this case, they might receive a commission for every sale, or they might be compensated only when a customer actually buys something from their page.

Although building websites which are genuinely interesting and useful is a great way to earn money passively through search engines recognising how much people are staying on and consuming a website's content. That's because the search engines will send free visitors,. But creating such websites is both time consuming, and recognition can be slow to appear.

Hence, one of the more popular ways of monetizing affiliate marketing channels on the web is to use pay per click advertising (PPC). The merchant will pay an affiliate only if and when they actually deliver a visitor to their site.

Therefore, it is crucial for the affiliate to be visible and active on the web. But, having a recognised high authority website is not the only way to do this. Pay per click (PPC) advertising brings results within hours of the affiliate being approved as a PPC advertiser, and some initial ads have been created and activated for display.

Pay per click advertising works best when you have a targeted audience, since this is the audience likely to be interested in the products or services you are advertising. There are many ways to find the right "targets", and the affiliate marketing novice only need follow one or more of the many good online courses to discover how to gain that audience.

However, even when you do have a large audience, there is still the chance that your ad will not be clicked on. Even the most seasoned affiliate marketer will tell you how they made what they thought was a winning offer or ad, only for it to be ignored.

As such, it is necessary to constantly test your pay per click strategies in order to find out which ads bring in the most revenue. Those that are successful, gain their success through their persistence. They do not become discouraged when an ad campaign flops. They say that, on the contrary, they learn by such experiences of what isn't working. It is all useful knowledge for them.

Another way of increasing your affiliate marketing revenue is through the use of social media channels. A great way of monetizing your channel is to make a connection with a highly targeted audience. By doing this, your audience is much more likely to purchase the products or services that you are promoting.

This increases the chances of revenue growth and also ensures that your customers remain loyal to your brand even after they have become accustomed to using your products and services.

The best way to increase revenue through affiliate marketing programs is to use multiple streams of income in order to gain the most from your marketing campaigns.

The easiest way of achieving this is through getting a good conversion rate on your website or PPC ads in one campaign. Moving on and using that experience to promote another product.

High conversion rates ensure that your customers remain loyal to your brand, and are more likely to buy the products and services you are offering in the future.

To help increase the odds of your website conversion rates being high, it is advisable to implement a number of tactics into your marketing strategy. These include:
  • ensuring that your website content is always fresh and up-to-date;
  • using creative banner graphics and adverts;
  • offering incentives to visitors who make purchases; and
  • making use of the right affiliate marketing network.
All of these tactics can work in synergy to ensure that you increase your revenue through affiliate marketing programs.

Another aspect to consider for increasing affiliate marketing revenue is to focus on gaining a strong niche following. When promoting products and services related to your niche, it is important to target potential buyers through a tightly controlled marketing campaign. Attract people of the same mindset as yourself by communicating your own personality and original outlook on life. Be honest and truthful and people will come to respect and trust you.

By targeting a tightly controlled audience of your "fans", you will be able to greatly increase the number of people who will be interested in purchasing the product or service that you are offering.

For instance, if you are promoting a product for dog lovers, it is advisable to focus on providing quality content that caters specifically to the interests this target audience. This can make the entire process a lot easier, as it will increase the chances of gaining a loyal audience.

Additionally, by focusing on a niche audience, you are far more likely to build a long-term relationship with your audience, which can lead to a significant increase in sales over time.

This is a great way to get testimonials that can even go viral. Whichever live gets the most likes, wins.

Host a Round Table with a Panel of Experts

Bring in some experts about your topic and host a round table. Allow viewers to submit questions in advance so that even those who watch the recorded version can get their question in. Then let the panel offer their advice on the question. You can have many questions or just one question, weekly or monthly.

Host an Open Question Hour

You can go live at any moment and let people ask questions while you're live. You can give your people a warning via email and announcement or by scheduling the Facebook Live, but you can also do them last minute.

Create Private Content for Your Group

An effective way to use Facebook Live is to create content only for your private group. Announce it on your page, market it through your email lists, and blog - but require them to join the group or membership to get the content. You can even make this another income stream.

Share a Day in the Life

You get four hours to stream, so you can host a working session where you work live while everyone can watch. You can talk about what you're doing, share with them how you do what you do, share your screen, demo what you're doing and so forth during the live stream.

Host an Open Live Critique Hour

This will work for many different niches, marketing experts, content experts, logo designers, coaches, and so forth. Invite people to be in the hot seat and get critiqued for something that you can normally fix if they hire you.

Conduct Regular Training

You can train people how to do things via Facebook Live. It doesn't matter if it's knitting, creating spreadsheets, cutting hair, doing makeup, or cooking. Think about the things you know how to do that's relevant to your audience, and show them how to do it.

Facebook users watch 100 million hours of videos on FB every day. Live video streaming connects with your audience in a way that text, images and recorded video can't. For proven tips for successful live video marketing download my free checklist at https://jonallo.com/live-video

Build Better Websites & Funnels

In this day and age, any business that wants to thrive must go online.

With so many things going on around the world, and global changes that will forever impact the way people live and do business, going online is no longer just an option.

Not only to maintain their success but even just to survive.

Sure, there are tools that are already available that any business can use to run their entire company and processes digitally.

However, any minimum amount of research will tell you that most of these products are expensive, complicated and limited in customization.

In other words, not very user-friendly, and definitely not suitable for all business owners, especially those who are less tech-savvy and might even be on a budget.

I mean, who can afford to invest thousands of dollars a month into a bunch of complicated tools, and on top of that, hire employees to manage the systems, right?

Well, if this sounds familiar in any way, I have some good news for you.

As an online marketer and blogger myself, I am always looking for new solutions for these everyday challenges we face as business owners.

Today, I am very excited to introduce you to my latest discovery.

GrooveFunnels is, by far, the best way I have found to be able to build websites, sales funnels and sell digital products online.

The best part? It’s FREE.

But the free value does not end there…

You see, GrooveFunnels is not just a website and sales funnel builder.

The co-founder of GrooveFunnels, Mike Filsaime, is actually a veteran in the Internet marketing space and has put all his experience and expertise into one of the best suite of marketing tools I have ever seen.

I’ve also signed myself up for an account (it’s free), and for the past few days, I’ve had the chance to play around with it.

And you know what?

I can definitely tell you that this 100% free tool is perfectly capable of running your entire business, maybe even better than some of the expensive complicated tools out there.

I’m not exaggerating by any means…

From what I’ve seen so far, GrooveFunnels includes everything that I need to run my online business, all for absolutely free.

Here’s just a quick list of what I’ve gathered so far:

- FREE sales, page and funnel building platform

- Ability to create full product funnels

- Possible to build my own branded websites with full navigation

- Can integrate with my own custom domain name

- Able to sell my products with what they call a 1-click upsell

- Capability to integrate upsells, downsells, and order bumps

- Even has a way to create my own powerful affiliate program for my products!

And that’s just for starters, because there is so much more for me to explore!

I’m not even joking when I say that I am planning to change my ENTIRE online business over to GrooveFunnels!

I mean, why wouldn’t I?

It’s FREE, and it’s probably the BEST suite of marketing tools I have ever seen in my life.

By the way, there’s more…

I didn’t even mention some of my favourite benefits of GrooveFunnels.

As a member, I’ve also received a TON of community benefits.

I’ve been able to join their private Facebook group, connect with marketing experts inside, get help with all my problems, access private training within their own academy, ask questions through their helpdesk, and meet other like-minded entrepreneurs just like me to make the best use of these tools.

So, if you’re like me… Striving to grow your business, looking to learn more about marketing and getting to know some of the best in the industry at a more personal level, then you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity.

Sounds great, right?

But you might be asking… what’s the catch?

The catch is that GrooveFunnels is free, but for a limited time only.

GrooveFunnels is in its pre-launch phase, which means that many of the products have still yet to fully launch.

When they do, and as the products continue to get upgraded, GrooveFunnels may no longer be free anymore.

This means that now is the time to sign up for your free account, which would also qualify you for the additional software upgrades that they make as time goes on.

Awesome deal, right?

It’s called being at the right place, at the right time.

And that’s where we’re at right now :)

Don’t wait any longer, because I’m honestly not sure when this free offer is going to go away.

Do yourself a favour and sign up for your free GrooveFunnels account right now, and I will see you inside of the Facebook group.

The beauty of it is that you can work flexibly, from anywhere at any time.

The potential reach of customers on her high street is really limited, restricted to just people who happen to live nearby.

Hannah received a commission for making the introduction (and didn't have to fulfil the order, get involved in payment, shipping... all those hassles).

Personally, I invested in training in online marketing, and the training company that I signed up with, the Six Figure Mentors, also provided a one-stop-shop digital system in addition to the training (it includes lots of software that you need plus your hosting and website etc).

Content Marketing: 9 Steps to Successfully Market Your Business With Content

One big barrier to getting sales is not creating enough of the right content on a consistent basis, to help your target audience understand why they should hire you.

Content marketing has been shown to be one of the most effective methods of growing audience engagement, developing your brand presence, and driving sales.

Why is content marketing important?

When you don't share content regularly, your audience can either forget about you or not put their trust in you---or both.

According to Hubspot.com...

"Content marketing is important because it answers your audience's questions. With content marketing, you can build trust with your audience, improve conversions, connect with your customers, and generate leads. Additionally, in today's age, customers expect high-quality, consistent content from their favorite brands... Consistent, high-quality, and engaging content impacts audience decision-making more than any other technique."

Content is how you do that and so many coaches lack the focus necessary to create and plan out content strategically.

Content marketing is absolutely vital, but if you don't have a system for creating it, you're wasting your time. So, here's something that may help - nine steps on how to create content for your business.

Step 1- Commit to Regular Content Creation: You need to commit to creating content regularly. That's because, if you want to be viewed as an expert, you need to be showing up like clockwork. Also because search engines like to see content produced on a regular basis. So, consistently produced content is key.

But, in order to do that, you will first need to decide what kinds and forms of content you want to create---based on the needs of your target market.

Step 2- List Your Promotions: Decide on what you will be launching and/or promoting in the next 6-12 months, and when you will promote them, so you can plan out the big events first. Space them out so it doesn't look like you're promoting too often, or back to back. Then add smaller promos such as existing products/programs, other people's affiliate products, and lead magnets.

Step 3- Market Research: In order to be found through the search engines, your content always needs to use keywords that pertain to your niche. Find out what your target market is searching for by using common sense. What keywords and phrases would you search for to find you? Then create a list of these keywords and phrases to be used in your content. You can also take those keywords and plug them into a keyword or search tool to find other related keywords and phrases that people are using. Google, for instance, does this at the bottom of its search pages, under the heading "People Also Ask...".

Other market research to find out what content your audience is engaging with, includes looking at: trends in your industry, popular blog posts, videos, podcasts and best-selling, related books, on your niche topics. You can also visit forums and online groups based on your topic to see what people are discussing regarding your topic, and what words they are using.

Step 4- Create an Idea Bank:
From your research, you'll have a much better sense of which topics will be most interesting and compelling for your audience. You can now collect your ideas into an "idea bank." This can act as a repository for content ideas that you can pull from well into the future. But, since content creation is ongoing, resupplying your idea bank should also be ongoing. Some of your ideas can come from the topics discussed in forums, questions that people ask, keyword phrases they are using, and excerpts from your own products.

Step 5- Choose a Calendar: Find a calendar that fits your needs (there are many free ones online). Use it to designate which topics you will use for the next 6-12 months. This may seem like the easiest step, but in fact it can be the hardest. That's because you have to integrate content topics with your projected events, launches, promotions---and, all the while, keeping in mind what will get the best bang for your buck in terms of using your content to build your audience and make sales.

Step 6- Schedule Creation Time:
Now that you have your content topics, the next step is to schedule time on your to-do calendar to actually create the content. Designate regular blocks of time to write your content. How often, and how much time per block, will depend on whether you want to do it weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

For example, say you decide to post one piece of content per month, and you want to do the work on it quarterly. You know from experience that it takes about 2 hours to create one piece of (monthly) content. Then every 90 days, you'll need to schedule out 6 hours of time to create your content for that quarter. You may be the sort that wants to schedule doing it all at once---like a day or weekend---or, maybe, in blocks of two hours, 3 days in a row. Or, you may feel more comfortable spreading it out more. Whatever works for you!

Step 7- Produce Your Content: Use your scheduled time to produce your content for at least the next 30-90 days. By keeping your business goals (and mission) in mind when writing content, you'll be able to create the content most relevant to your audience and most lucrative to you. Make use of different formats for your content. For example, you may write a blog post for your monthly newsletter, and then turn it into a video or podcast to distribute later in the month.

Step 8- Optimize: Once it's done, make sure that your content:
  • Has the right balance of serving (80%) and selling (20%) - value vs. sales pitch.

  • Is optimized with relevant keywords and phrases.

  • Balances the various types of content you share, such as, educational, entertaining, inspirational and promotional.

Balance is key to content effectiveness. Perhaps the greatest advantage of your content calendar is that it gives you the big picture. You can see whether you're following the "80/20 rule" of free versus promotional content, used by most successful marketers. And, because you can see the "what and when" plan for all your content, you can ensure that you have a good balance of various types of content and, thus be able to create a professional impression for visitors to all your online resources.

Optimize each blog post, social media post, and video with pertinent keywords and meta descriptions for blogs.

Step 9- Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP): Once you've gone through the process of creating your content, now it's time to write down the steps you went through to do it. Make a separate list of instructions for each content form and platform, even if the steps are largely similar. This list helps you create a coherent look, and it ensures you follow all needed steps every time you post.

And, as your business grows, your SOP will be essential for cutting down the amount of time needed to train a new team member.

So that's the 9 steps to basic content creation. If these steps are enough, that's great---go do it! But in case you need more help figuring out how to find the time, come up with the topics, and/ or create a plan for distributing your content, check out "The Ultimate Content Creation Toolkit."

Making the Most of Ad Campaigns

No matter what your thoughts are of social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, the chances are that you're missing out on prime marketing opportunities if you don't utilise these platforms. If you're ready to make a change and enhance the efficiency of your ad campaigns, let's look at what you can do to make sure that your campaign performs as it should each and every time you try.

Don't Let Facebook Run Everything

It can be a bit tempting to let Facebook do the optimising when it comes to your business, but this can actually hurt you in the long run. You need to look at the CPM bids set on Facebook and make sure that you're getting the exposure you want while paying the price you want. This can be explained to you by a professional, and while you're at it you can get a free SEO audit.

Work with Professionals

Chances are that you don't have professional digital marketing experience, or if you do you'll spread yourself too thin trying to market your business on your own. If you don't want to invest in building your own marketing team, you're going to need to work with professionals at a digital marketing agency. These experts can provide you with a myriad of services and benefits, including performing free SEO audit evaluations for your business to find areas that could use improvement.

Promote Using Apps

If you have an app for your business or service and use ads to get your information out there, you should speak to a digital marketing agency about taking advantage of ads on mobile apps. Facebook helps a lot when it comes to running campaigns using apps, and these can get you even more viewers than before. Don't settle for what you've limited yourself to in the past - branch out and make the most use of Facebook.

Test Rigorously

You should be aware that one method isn't the tried and true way to do things - different methods may work at different times for different audiences, so it's important to test out methods rigorously and find what works for you and your audience. Be creative with your campaigns and consider doing tests to make sure that your efforts are paying off. You don't want to waste your time and money running ads for no reason, so look into why they work and why they don't.

Take Advantage of New Features

It seems like every couple of months an app rolls out a brand new feature that calls the attention of its users. When it comes to sites like Facebook, you're going to need to make sure you use the features that come with it to their fullest advantage. Make sure you understand these features in order to make the most out of them, such as FBX.

With these tips, you're going to have a business that is thriving both on and off of social media thanks to the efforts of digital marketing professionals.

How to Improve Your Content Marketing

Improving your content can grow your email list because it gives more opportunities for your audience to sign up. Plus, you will be giving them a reason to sign up by delivering excellent content that's targeted toward their needs.

Add Multiple CTAs

Don't just put a box on the right sidebar asking for people to sign up for your newsletter. That isn't enough. Now you need to add CTAs in numerous areas to get their attention and increase sign-up rates. Put one under each post, on the right sidebar, in a lightbox and inside content with content upgrades.

How to Sell on Instagram?

Social media has detonated on the Internet, and advertisers wherever are figuring out how to use its extraordinary abilities to target possible clients. There are more than four billion web users on earth, and more than three billion of them utilize Social Media.

Distinctive Social Media, in any case, appeals to various age gatherings. People born after WW2, for instance, are found essentially on Facebook. Then again, more youthful age gatherings, similar to the twenty to thirty-year-olds, favour different platforms, and individuals in the 18 to 34 age range include an astounding 64% of the Instagram user base. That doesn't mean, notwithstanding, that in the event that you begin exploiting Instagram internet marketing, you will expand your deals quickly.

Instagram is an internet-based media platform that was at first made to meet a quite certain need. Instagram was planned, starting from the earliest stage, explicitly for the mobile platform. It was made so that individuals who made photographs or attempted making videos on their smartphones could rapidly and effectively share that content without battling through complex issues or file transfer protocols.

Selling on Instagram

On the off chance that your business sells substantial, actual products, Instagram can be one of your best advertising and selling devices.

There are a few key purposes behind this, however, the essential one is that the platform has components set up that encourages the deal and conveyance of actual products. Assuming, be that as it may, you offer assistance, for example, a travel service does, you can, in any case, showcase your organization, and even see a lift in your business, yet clients will not have the option to buy straightforwardly through the Instagram platform.

In the event that a product can be purchased, sent, and utilized by a user, at that point Instagram has the devices to help you get that going. Remember that organizations zoomed in on selling products have a critical preferred position in Instagram versus those that offer services.

Shopping on Instagram

The shopping features enable individuals to look for and to buy the products on Instagram. This is an amazingly advantageous element for both the client and the merchant since it does something significant: it disposes of the hindrances to buying.

Before, if a potential client was keen on purchasing an item that was included on Instagram, they couldn't do as such on the spot. Tapping on a thing would remove a client from Instagram and into the seller's site where the deal would then occur.

The most effective method to Set Up the Shopping Feature

On the off chance that you need to utilize the shopping highlight on Instagram to advertise your business and sell your items, it's a generally direct, 5-pointer measure:

1. Make Your Shopify Store:

The Instagram retail facade is intended to interface and work consistently with a set up Shopify store, so ensure you as of now have one set up before you embrace the following steps.

2. Check Your National Eligibility:

On the off chance that your business is situated in the United States or Canada, you don't have anything to stress over. In any case, in case you're situated in different locales of the world, for example, Europe or Asia, you'll need to ensure your nation meets all requirements for the shopping feature.

3. Make Your Facebook Channel:

Instagram is possessed by Facebook, and the organization needs to guarantee total information similarity, so you should have a Facebook channel on your Instagram account too.

4. Make Your Business Account:

Having met the above requirements, you would now be able to make your one of a kind Instagram business account. This is altogether different from an ordinary user's social account.

5. Linking of Your Sales Channel with Your Shopify Store:

At last, you would now be able to connect your Instagram sales channel with your Shopify store. The two accounts will communicate with one another, so you will not need to stress over preparing customer transactions.

Conclusion

Whatever you do, don't be dull! In the event that you don't discover your product pictures engaging, at that point users on Instagram likely will also not like it.

Continuously ensure you present your products in their best light with regards to shopping on Instagram. With more than one billion clients consistently, Instagram offers sellers one of the best internet business vehicles accessible.

From numerous points of view, content is a versatile marketing medium that can help any business in any industry. It's additionally reasonable, simple to make, and trustworthy for long haul results. Those are quite decent advantages of it, however, the genuine estimation of content advertising is its significance to digital marketing in general. What Are the Benefits of Online Marketing?

Whether you like it or not, people are talking about you. If you're not online monitoring the buzz about your business, you won't be able to know how to control it. All you need to get started is a Facebook page for your business and you can now market at least to people who are on Facebook. It's not hard to get started. You simply need to make a presence on social media, create a website with a blog, and start promoting your online presence.

Target Locally

By using the right geographical keywords and tools, you can target your local area. Sign up on local review sites. Ensure that your location is mentioned on social media and on websites so that when someone searches for your business on their smartphone they will find it.

Stop Your Competitors from Winning

If you're not marketing online, you can be sure that your competitors are doing it. If they are and you're not, it won't be long before you notice a huge difference in your own traffic and sales. Start marketing online to stop your competitors from beating you with innovative marketing techniques.
